Cherry Ceramic Spoon Rest (SECONDS QUALITY)

SECONDS QUALITY - I am selling this gorgeous cherry spoon rest as a "seconds quality" piece as there are a couple of flaws I am not 100% happy about. Firstly there is a small black dot (as shown in photo), I think a tiny speck of black underglaze ended up on this without me realising. Secondly there are some pinholes around the edge of the pink glaze, I think this is due to the glaze being applied too thickly in that area, lesson learned. The piece is still functional however due to these small flaws I cannot sell as first quality. Please DO NOT put this in the dishwasher. Handwash/wipe only.

Each piece is individually wheel thrown in my studio using durable stoneware clay. After careful finishing and glazing, the spoon rest is kiln fired for strength and everyday practicality. The result is a functional yet characterful kitchen helper that keeps your worktops clean while looking lovely by the hob.

Measurements: 12cm diameter, 1.2cm high

Because every piece is made by hand, you may notice slight variations in shape and glaze - part of what makes each one unique.
